These two festivals are community festivals taking place in Bumthang valley. The Domkhar Tsechu takes place in Chumey valley and then the Ura Yakchoe takes places in the serene valley of Ura just about 30 km away from Chumey valley. Bumthang is considered as a cultural and religious hotspot of Bhutan and these two communities are located on sprawling meadows. The houses are all traditionally built and we have partnered with some of the best noble houses in the village to provide our guests with farmhouse stays.
